Board And Advisory Committees

Although many of the decisions affecting the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District are made by the elected officials that make up the Board of Directors, much of the information and recommendations on which those decisions are based are developed by two distinct sets of committees. The first are Board Committees. These committees are comprised of the directors themselves. The second are advisory committees. These committees consist of community volunteers or representatives of local government agencies. Both types serve a critical role in the fulfillment of the District’s mission.
